We can prosper in a new day or wither when night arrives. Every day is a clean slate, however, many find the trials of the past clutter that view. Line 11 states, "Or the bleak winds thy blossoms scatter round." The "winds" refer to past trials that seem to pass through people's minds, pushing against their chance to blossom. Line 7 says, "The drooping buds shall drink the morning dew." This quote displays the remedy needed for people who the wind is blowing against. If they would pay attention to their surroundings and "drink" up all the wonders and blessings in life they would find happiness and begin to grow towards the sun.
